Composed in 1917 by Sam Wishnuff,  this was published by E. J. Stark,  who specialized in ragtime and blues.  Both Scott Joplin and James Scott,  two of the "big three" classic ragtime composers,  were also in Stark's catalogue.  This early little-known blues demontstrates how close to ragtime original blues was,  and one may hear the roots of later country blues in it.  It was originally billed as "Blues-Rag-Trot",  indicating a versatility for performance,  depending upon the tempo it was played at!  Note the use of "revolutionary" (for 1917) harmonies,  plus what was then considered "blue" notes that were outside the traditional chord family used to harmonize the melody.    Score included.
