Composed in 1914 by Malvin Franklin, who was a versatile New York composer with many fine rags, one-steps and songs to his credit. The title may also refer to those late night cabaret individuals who went from night spot to night spot in order to dance until dawn. This work was published as a dance number, but your arranger has only been able to find a piano score to it, and thus this saxophone quartet is an adaptation of that rare score. Play it brightly, not slowing in tempo and with a rounded, full classical tone. Score included.
